After leaving the city, you are on the way to the Rifugio Sapienza and stop at some viewpoints. You will receive all the information you need from the guide who will also tell you all the details of our culture and the Etna area. You will live in the places of the last eruptions and see the old Silvestri craters
 
From Rifugio Sapienza (1920 meters above sea level), you can choose one of these options:
-walk with the guide through the area at 2000 meters in the Etna National Park
-Buy the Etna altitude option: This option allows you to reach a higher altitude by taking a cable car from 2000 to 2500 meters and a 4x4 bus from 2500 meters to the maximum achievable heights. You will be amazed by a spectacular view and surrounded by the last lava flows and the extinct craters of the recent formation. At 2750 m above sea level, the mountain guide will take you for a walk in one of the places where the volcano has shown its life. At the end of the hike you will reach the Rifugio Sapienza again by cable car and 4x4 bus.
 
Later we visit a cave with flashlights and helmets
 
The excursion ends with a visit to one of the volcano’s best wineries, where you will taste four glasses of local wines with local cold cuts, cheeses, pâté and olive oil.

Windbreaker / tennis shoes / water / hat and sunglasses.
