Description
The tour will start from the southern part of the Volcano.
The dirt path starts from Rifugio Sapienza hotel (1,900m a.s.l) at 10:30 AM, please reach the meeting place 30 minutes before, it takes place between ancient craters and recent lava flows.
With our Guides, you can admire an extraordinary panorama: the summit craters of Etna, the Ionian Sea and the Valle del Bove.
The descent will take place along a sandy and exciting track.
After the tour we will return to Rifugio Sapienza.

By activating this option, the descent along the sandy track will include thrilling enduro single-trails, covering a total of 2,100 meters of downhill elevation.
A mechanized lift will bring you back to the starting meeting point.

Continue the tour with a descent down to 1,700 meters, then proceed along the first section of the Etna Altomontana trail. This route offers the opportunity to admire pristine landscapes, ancient lava flows, and extinct craters, while passing through forests of oak and pine trees. At the end, return to the original meeting point.

If you wish to reach the summit areas, activate this option. You will take part in a trekking experience led by a volcanologist, starting at 2,900 meters and reaching the summit craters at 3,345 meters above sea level, allowing you to witness up close the power and energy of the volcano.
Note: The actual altitude reached may vary without notice, depending on the regulations in effect at the time of the excursion.
