Enjoy an engaging outdoor experience with a half-day Etna cycling to the top, a bike tour designed for those who wish to ride on Mount Etna accompanied by certified guides. This guided Etna e-bike tour takes place on dirt and lava trails, allowing you to explore the volcano in an active and sustainable way.
The afternoon departure is a special opportunity: you will reach the highest altitudes of Mount Etna at sunset, when the warm light of the sun enhances the volcanic landscape in a spectacular way. This option is available only from April to September, depending on weather conditions.
During the half-day Etna e-bike tour, you will tackle a route with about 600 meters of uphill elevation gain, riding among ancient craters and recent lava flows. Our e-mountain bikes make the ride smooth and accessible, allowing you to focus on the landscapes and the experience.
The guides will lead you to unmissable panoramic viewpoints, from where you can admire the summit craters, the Ionian Sea, and the majestic Valle del Bove. The descent, along an exciting sandy trail, makes the tour dynamic and fun, with a final return to Rifugio Sapienza, the starting and ending point of the tour.

➕ SUMMIT CRATERS
After reaching the highest point of the e-bike tour, you can continue with a trekking experience accompanied by a volcanological guide, reaching the summit craters at 3,345 m above sea level. A unique opportunity to experience the power of the volcano up close.

➕ GRAVITY
From the highest sections of the route, an adrenaline-filled descent will begin along sandy trails and enduro single tracks, with a total of 1,700 meters of downhill elevation. A mechanical uplift is included to return to the initial meeting point.

Requirement: Previous enduro experience
➕ ALTOMONTANA TRAIL
You will descend to 1,700 meters and continue along the first section of the Etna Altomontana Trail, crossing untouched landscapes, lava flows, and extinct craters, surrounded by oak and pine forests, before returning to the starting point.
Level: Moderate

By activating this option, the descent along the sandy track will include thrilling enduro single-trails, covering a total of 1,700 meters of downhill elevation.
A mechanized lift will bring you back to the starting meeting point.

Excursion Cycling to the top + Altomontana
Continue the tour with a descent down to 1,700 meters, then proceed along the first section of the Etna Altomontana trail.
This route offers the opportunity to admire pristine landscapes, ancient lava flows, and extinct craters, while passing through forests of oak and pine trees. At the end, return to the original meeting point.

Excursion Etna Cycling to the Top + summit craters
If you wish to reach the summit areas, activate this option. You will take part in a trekking experience led by a volcanologist, starting at 2,900 meters and reaching the summit craters at 3,345 meters above sea level, allowing you to witness up close the power and energy of the volcano.
